the "steroid effect" of Mars transit to natal Node of the Moon

Beautiful Mars! - Roblox

Mars is the only planet in astrology that is orbiting outside the Earth and meanwhile it is a planet that is personal and individual for each person. It is different in the way that it is not generational like Saturn and other outer planets. In our previous chapters, we learned that Mars is the planet of strength, will power and our sense of action, just like Ares God of War, which is its mythological symbolism. In our psychology, Mars is the planet of energy. In a positive light, it rules all types of physical activities and our energy source. If the Sun in astrology is what we believe in and what we live by, Mars is the fuel and the “steroid” to urge us into action. Mars is also the counterpart of Venus: males and female, masculine and feminine, war and peace, aggression and receptivity. Without Mars, we have no energy to execute our plans. Everything would stay stagnent as an imagination in our mind.

Mark (given name) - Wikipedia Mars, God of War in Roman Mythology

Since there is a very masculine attribute in Mars, when transit Mars and our Natal North Node come into contact, there is a strong sense of initiation and important new undertakings. This triggering event doesn’t happen very often since Mars takes almost 2 years to complete one orbit. So in general, this “energy boost” comes usually once every two years (Of course, it also depends on which sign it retrogrades in.) People who have sun sign, moon sign, ascendant sign and midheaven in Aries or Scorpio particularly will benefit from this transit. The transit of Mars to North Node could bring generosity, courage and heroism. We might do deeds which are prompted by nobility, high sense of duty and manliness. We radiate good intentions through our own actions. Some of us will take on a large project and push for physical limits. This is  an exuberant but somewhat a bit reckless vibe. So proper caution should be applied in any actions. Having said that, Mars transit North Node is generally speaking a whistel to call for action.

I also noticed that quite a lot of professional athletes have either conjunction or trine/sextile angles between their natal North Node and Mars. Rich Froning, 4 times Crossfit game champion having natal North Node in Aries trine natal Mars in Leo. Michael Phelps, the renowned competitive swimmer who won 28 gold medals in the Olympic Games, also has his Natal Mars in Cancer sextile his natal North Node in Taurus. Of course, the natal contact of Mars and North Node like the two athletes previous mentioned is different from a temporary transit since anything natal is much stronger and imbeded throughout your life time. However when the transit happens top us, it does somehow pour fuel into our engine, and it is almost like a refill of adrenaline. If you do happen to be an athlete and need to compete during Mars-North Node transit, no matter you have the natal Mars-North Node contact or not, you are for sure blessed by the cosmos and will receive some divine assistance to win.

During this period time, there could be males figures or strong female figures coming into our life to offer assistance, and they maybe exciting and passionate. Someone is willing to take positive action on your behalf. This is a great timing to social, net-work and connect with strong male figures.

Since Mars also rules our sex drive, Mars transit North Node could also boost our sexual desire and create passion, if meanwhile Venus is also in contact. There is potential for new beginnings in the area of romance as well as in other relationships, and the contact is very basic to sexual harmony. I have seen many people describe their unforgettable sexual experience when Mars was transiting their North Node. This is the time for action, sexual pursuit and the chase.

What in 2020 and early 2021, how will Mars transit affect you? The chart below has put together the information for you to find out your glorious Mars time. Take actions and go for what you want!

Venus’s Transit in 2020 and its Karmic Luck

Venus Enters Capricorn: Authority is Beautiful

As a Fortune planet, transit Venus conjunct North Node attracts many opportunities. Venus is the planet of love, pleasure, and beauty. It represents your capacity to express affection and to enjoy beauty. This includes your capacity to attract and appreciate the things of the world, whether they are emotional, physical/material, mental, or spiritual things. It defines the type of people you draw to yourself, based on your social values. Our sex appeal, love affairs, the arts, beauty, adornment, affection, the social graces, harmony, and friendship are all under the realm of our natal Venus position. Being the planet of pleasure, it also points to the our luck with money and how we spend our financial resources.

f:id:theKingdomHealer:20200503111930p:plain   Goddess of Love (Venus bust)

When the transiting Venus comes in contact with your natal North Node, there  comes the need for a reassessment of the finances and/ or affections. In the area of love, if you are already in a long term relationship/marriage, romantically there may be an initial cooling off stage as we tend to reflect upon the relationship and does not want to feel suffocated or possessed. However this is not necessarily a bad thing. North Node brings a lot of thoughts and awakening in order for us to become more self-aware and clear about what we truly want. If you are single, there may be a karmic attraction, attachment or new romance that begins under this transit. You tend to receive gifts, flowers or sweet messages from a love interest. You might also decide to have a makeover, change your hairstyle, buy new clothes and accessories and you feel more attractive and confident. Change of appearance during this transit is always positive, and thus it boosts our luck in dealing with romantic encountering. Whether you are married or not, this is a great period of time of social life. There are celebrations and happy occasions (either it is yours or you attend such events). Young women and their interests come into focus, as well as people who work in beauty/female oriented jobs(such as your male or female hair dresser), playing a significant part in the life.

Financially, this is usually a positive aspect with increases, assuming we have worked hard. This transit does not bring a windfall, however it does surprise us from time to time with a bit of money luck. Personally I have experienced the benefit from this specific transit. For months I was waiting for an airline to refund me the money I had paid for a trip. Initially when the trip got canceled, the airline refused to give refund. I negotiated with them for quite a few months, with email back and forth. When I almost gave up, during the time transiting Venus conjunct my North Node, the airline finally decided to refund me and money was deposited into my bank account 2 days after the transit.

The North Node magnifies and sometimes distorts the energy attributed to the plant it touches, so one may experience increased self-indulgent tendencies. However, as long as we are trying to maintain balance, it should not become an issue.

Note that for North Node in Gemini, the entire Gemini season in 2020 (late May to late June) is a great month since their natal North Node is experiecing the illumination of the Sun and Venus simultaneously. Aries and Pisces people, in early 2021 also will have some extra boost of luck coming in. This is because the transiting Sun will also be coming into contact with their natal North Node exactly or almost at the same time for a whole month. North Node in Taurus and Aquaris are also encouraged by this double energy since the Sun-Venus transit to North Node will last for 3 weeks. For other North Node positions, there is still plenty of fresh air breezing in with Venus transit alone. Take advantage of this period of time to expand your social life, network, practice self love and enjoy the bounty of beautiful things around.

Divine Uranus~the Life Changing Rebel in Us

Original HD Wallpaper | Background Image | 1920x1080 | ID:792513 ...

Uranus transiting to the Sun—the life force symbol for all of us, causes magnetic reactions in our psychology. This transit literally makes us feel the electricity in our body and it works as an awakening call to the dormant self that has been suppressed. Since Uranus takes 84 years to finish one orbit, every individual experiences a full circle of Uranus orbit in a life time: Uranus-Sun conjunction, sextile, trine, square and opposition. In 2020~2021, Uranus will be moving between 2~10 degrees in Taurus. This transit is significant to Taurus people, as well as some other signs listed in the below chart.

Uranus transit suggests a time when we are in accord with our own inner need to develop and expand the self in ways we haven't done before. There is a part of us which is eager to open up, explore and experiment with life, and we can take advantage of harmonious Uranus-Sun transits (such as sextile and trine) by following these urges. Opportunities to change and revolutionise our lives could come through the people we encounter, a new job, a new course of study etc. The astrological house where Uranus transits, the house where our natal Sun is in, and the house with Leo on the cusp or contained within it, will be the areas through which new expansion is possible. As with any Uranus Sun transit, some of the existing structures in our life may have to go in order to make room for new things. How much disruption this entails depends to a large degree on how our natal Sun was aspected at birth. Provided the Sun does not have too many stressful natal aspects to Saturn or the outer plants, the process of integrating change in our lives under harmonious Uranus Sun transits should not be difficult.

As we talked in the previous chapter about Uranus, it is a planet of revolution and chaos, through which creation and invention are born. So Uranus conjunction, square and opposition with the natal sun often brings some upheaval to life. This could work in two ways. If we are the kind of person who enjoys the excitement of change,  these transits will be easier to handle. I usually see Uranus transit experience as we being our own astronaut and exploring the vast unknown cosmos. We could feel apprehensive about what is ahead, but once we pluck our courage to try, we will see the Sun, the Moon, and millions of stars in the universe. This could be a great opportunity to broaden our horizons and welcome new learnings. However, if we fear the unknown or untried, if we would do everything possible to maintain an existing situation even if we are unhappy with it, then the hard transits of Uranus to the Sun will not feel very comfortable. When Uranus transit happens to us, it is always suggested that we go with the flow without trying to control everything and resistance.

Feelings of restlessness usually accompany these transits. We might feel bored or trapped by circumstances in life. We may want to blame others for our dissatisfaction. To some extend this might be true, but it is not necessarily the people around us who have to change, but ourselves. We need to pay attention to that part of us which is restless and dissatisfied, and make room in our lives for new things to happen. The core self wants us to change at this time and if we deny theses inclinations, we are more likely to attract discussion from the outside which forces us into it. Or, because we are using so much of our energy to hold back the part of us which need to make some changes, we could end up feeling tired, ill or depressed. Difficult Uranus-Sun transits do not require overthrowing every structure in our lives, but we will probably have to make some important adjustments or alterations in order to respect the new growth these transits signal. If we use the metaphor I gave in the previous paragraph, we must wear spacesuits, carry oxygen and be well trained in order to explore the universe. We cannot expect to go to the space as how we dressed and live on earth.

The Sun is also the symbol of father, so Uranus -Sun transit sometimes indicate changes in our relationship with them. Again, much depends on how the Sun in our chart is aspected natally. If the Sun has stressful natal aspects, a transiting Uranus trine or sextile can provide the opportunity for a positive breakthrough with the father. Combination improve, and previous negative patterns of relating make way for new understanding and openness. However, transiting Uranus conjunct, square or opposing a difficulty aspected natal Sun tends to expose the inherent problems between our father and ourselves. Some of my clients with these transits felt the need to take a stand against the father, challenging his authority over them or his expectations of them; the time had come to separate from him, and to find out who they were in their own right.

Transiting Uranus aspecting the Sun is also symbolic of finding “the father inside us”. That is, the ability to take charge and direct our own lives. This is a period time when it will be difficult to adapt easily to what other people want, especially if it is not in line with what we feel we need for ourselves. Rather than adjusting to others, we may find ourselves demanding that other adjust to us. This transit awakens us to our own power, and this could manifest itself in flights with authority figures, and our standing up to people who we previously allowed control and influence over us. This transit also could bring a male figure who has strong Uranus traits to our lives. He might be quirky, unique and rebellious. Or we might find a man that we are involved with goes through major changes or disruption when Uranus is transiting our Sun, and sometimes it could even affect or alter our own view of life. I remember I had a client who was born with Uranus conjunct Sun. During the year she was experiencing transiting Uranus trine her natal Sun, she constantly felt she needed her own time and start her own business. She no longer wishes to work under anyone else due to her constant struggle with her superiors. Around the same time, she met an Aquarius man (Aquarius is ruled by Uranus in modern Astrology) who was an entrepreneur himself. He encouraged her to leave her comfort zone and truly be independent. This transit basically shaped the next 3~5 years of her life when she transitioned from an employee to an independent business owner.

Regardless of gender, under the hard aspect transit of Uranus, we may not be the most peaceful person to live with. We are excitable, unpredictable, erratic and restless. We experience a frisson of rebellion to resist the stifling environment and break free of the restrictions of tradition or past conditioning. We are buzzing with new ideas and our new vision for live. It is important that during this transit we accept this new influx of energy, and make necessary changes as diplomatically as possible, these transits, thought not the easiest, signify a major leap forward in self-unfoldment.

Divine Neptune~ a quick guide to help us work with its life time transit

Outer space stars galaxies planets wallpaper | 1920x1200 | 13353 ...

In previous chapters, we briefly talked about what Neptune is in Astrology and how it symbolises our psychology in life. It is the planet that dissolves everything and then merge them into one, just like the astrological sign Pisces, which is the sign of the vast and limitless ocean. The boundary-eroding effect of transiting Neptune can enhance our awareness of the oneness of all lives, meanwhile, it increases our empathy and feeling of connectedness to everything else in existence. Neptune represents that part of us who yearns, in the heart of our being, to dissolve those boundaries and divisions that prevent us experiencing our essential oneness with the rest of life.

During this process, in order to finish this merging, we have to in some degree let go of our ego. When Neptune is having a transit to our important natal planets, we tend to have some spiritual or ethereal experiences in which we temporary transcend our normal “I am me and you are you” concept. We feel everything is universally connected and unbounded. Since Neptune is a very slowly moving planet, the transit of Neptune to our natal Sun can only happen 3~4 times during our life span( this transit could be conjunction, trine, square, opposite and sextile), and they usually symbolises important life changing experiences.

Currently in 2020, Neptune is at roughly 20 degree in Pisces. For the next 2 years 2020~2021, the critical degree of its transit will be around 20~22 degrees in Pisces. Yes, for the entire 2 years it would only move 2~3 degrees (note that Neptune has retrograde as well, which further slows it down). The following birthdates shows the people who will experience the Neptune transit for the coming 12~24 months.

The Sun represents the sense we have of ourselves as a separate individual. This is not difficult to understand. As we think of the Sun, it is a shining centre of our solar system. It is the star that takes the centre stage and has everyone else going around it. The Sun symbolises our ego and sense of self in Astrology. When Neptune transits in aspect to the Sun, it dissolves the borders of our ego-identity, and asks us to give up or let go of our existing sense of self in order to make room for something new. The soft aspect transiting usually does this in a gentle way, offering us a new version of ourselves which is more loving, expansive or creative than before.

Transiting Neptune with hard aspect(see above chart) could note a period of some confusion or self-doubt. If we have confidently marched into life and action in the past, during this time we might be more unsure about our power, value or identity. It makes us question ourself that exactly what is it that we yearn for. Especially the hard aspects transit could undermine our confidence, blur clarity and paralyse our old self and our normal ways of being. However, there is no need to worry. At some point, every single human being experiences 3~4 Neptune transits in its life time. Neptune does this for a purpose- in order that we can eventually rebuild ourselves in a new way. Something has to die for something new to be reborn. Understanding this may not alleviate the pain, frustration and disillusion we feel, but looking at these transits in this way can help us find meaning in what we are going through. If we can find meaning in our suffering, we are more likely to find ways to make constructive use of it.

On the positive side, since we are not so rigidly encased in the shell of our own ego, this transit increases our empathy for others and enhances our openness to any environment we are in. We are more susceptible to other people’s feelings and needs. Our heightened empathy could prompt us to take a project, a cause or an activity that involves helping people who are going through difficulties or who are less fortunate than ourselves. Serving or caring for others as a “martyr” can be a positive way to use this transit. This is especially significant if you are having a soft aspect transit. If you are having a hard transit, we do need to be careful with being drained by the demands other people make on us. While Neptune-Sun transit prompts us to be more sympathetic, we need to set our limits and learn to say “no” now and then. No matter what you choose, either proceed with the self sacrifice or not, we must be honest with ourselves in order to avoid falling into our subconscious resentment at a later stage. Because if we are not truthful to ourselves, we could potentially harbour rage and resentment towards the situation or the people involved, and over the years this could turn to bitterness and give rise to problems of a physical or emotional nature.

Let me give an example. I had a counselling session with a client who was having her Neptune hard transit (square) to her natal Sun. She was facing the dilemma of weather she should give up on a career she loves to become a house wife for her husband and become a mother. She didn’t really want to become a housewife and she was also not ready to have a child. But her husband craved a child so badly that it actually made her feel guilty not to give him a baby. Neptune transit, as we mentioned, usually brings some self sacrifice for others to life. In situations like this, what I usually advice the client is that no matter what choice she makes, she must openly acknowledge the part of her which could lead her to the feeling of resentment towards the husband because of what she would have to give up (such as her own needs, freedom or her career). Conscious decision/sacrifices with the clear aim of preserving a family is needed and we must learn how to be responsible for our decisions. At the end, she did decide to quit her career and fully support her husband and become a full time mother. There is neither right or wrong answer in this, but the fact that she herself making the conscious sacrifice without fearing to face her inner struggle is the key.

Another interesting part of a Neptune transit is that the Sun symbolises the masculine principle in us. When the transit happens, we tend to meet a man or be involved with a man who is a Neptunian. He could be having his sun sign or moon sign in Pisces, Ascendant or Midheaven in Pisces, having Neptune conjunct Ascendant, or having South Node in Pisces. Some of those connections, if brought by soft aspects transit, could come into our lives for a very positive life changing purpose. If by hard aspects, it usually gives us a harsh lesson about what we need to learn through our encountering with them, mostly in a romantic way if the Neptune transit is in the 5th house or the 7th house of the native’s natal chart.

The best way to work with Neptune is to focus on how to develop the positive side of Neptune energy within us, meanwhile we must be constantly aware of its negative tendencies. As we mentioned, confusion, illusion and sacrifice of the ego is a common theme for a Neptune transit, but it also coincide with the periods of heightened inspiration of a creative, emotional, or spiritual nature. A lot of us come to realise a higher purpose to life, and our increased imagination and intuition usually play an important role in helping us achieve such divine purposes. I have seen a lot of clients start the habit of meditation, yoga or other types of spiritual practices during the time when they are experiencing Neptune transit. We might also often find ourselves being guided by a mysterious power, and we tend to be in the right place at the right time to meet the right people. Those people brought by Neptune to life usually are helpful to us later in life so in hindsight we tend to have a “aha!” moment.  If you are in the profession related to art or music, this is a great opportunity for you to enhance your talent as you would tune into your imaginative and artistic side more.

The Illumination of Each Month and Year for You

香港太空館- 寰宇星空

In the past several chapters, we especially focused on the position of the North Node and South Node in a native’s birth chart in order to find out the naturally born attributes and tendencies. The natal configuration is like the seed we carry from mother’s womb, which reveals a lot of information about who we are when we look at our lives as a whole. In my consultation with each clients, I noticed that people, apart from interested in the “root” energy of themselves, also are interested in the vacillation of their energy on a yearly, or even monthly basis. Questions such as “How is the luck of this year for me?”, “ When is the best timing to take the exam?” are common. Today I would like to focus on this topic and present you the importance of “transit” on a natal chart.

First of all, what are transits in Astrology?

The positions of the planets at the moment you were born are captured on your birth chart. This is a stagnant “screenshot” of the stars. For example, say you were born on 12th July 1983, you will see on your natal chart the Sun is located at 19~20 degrees in Cancer(Sun moves roughly only one degree per days, so exact time here is not that crucial). However, as you took your first breath, the planets continued on their tracks. As the planets continue moving, every once in a while, they come into aspect with the planetary positions on your birth chart. For example, on 12th July 1983 the position of your Mercury was roughly at 22 degrees on Cancer, so the Sun will come in contact with your natal Mercury after about 2~3 days of your birth. This phenomenon is called transit. on 15th July 1983, the transiting Sun was touching your natal Mercury at 22 degrees in Cancer.

Any moving planets, slowly or fast, will come into contact with all your natal planets and important astrological points on the natal charts at some points in the future. From our view on earth, It takes the Sun 365 days to come back to its original position in the cosmos (in fact it is us taking 365 days to go around the Sun), thus each year, the Sun is transiting each natal planet of yours. If we are including other aspects apart from conjunction, which means the Sun “touches” a natal planet, there will be many different interactions between each transit planet and each natal planet. Astrologer also believe that trine, square, opposition are important aspects. But today we won’t go into details about them.

A moving planet can transit a natal planet of yours anywhere from a few hours up to a few years. The moon moves so fast that it could makes a conjunction with a natal planet for 1~2 hours and it will leave. However, Neptune and Pluto, because they move so slowly, the conjunction (or the touch) of a natal planet of yours can last for 2 or 3 years, if we use an orb of 1~2 degree.

The transit has an influence over you during the entire time that it’s transiting, but it also has a point at which it becomes “exact.” This is the day when it reaches the exact degree, minute, and second of your birth planet. Some transits can become exact three times because of retrograde motion: the transiting planet passes over the point once, then the planet goes retrograde and backtracks over the point, then the planet goes back into direct motion and passes over the point a third time.

In my years experience working with clients, I realised that what affects us the most is the outer planets transits to our Natal Sun, Moon, Nodes of the Moon; and inner plants transit to Nodes of the Moon. Understanding when the transit happens is essential in our planning and making predictions. Today, I especially want to talk about the transits of all planets to our North Node, the position of cosmic development and growth.

First, please find out where your North Node and South Node are in your natal chart. https://cafeastrology.com/northnodetables.html

Transiting Sun to your North Node: The Sun comes to 24 degrees in Gemini almost always on the same dates every year— around 13th June to 17th June (Here I have given 2 degrees orbs). For a 12th July 1983 born native, every year between 13th to 17th June, the Sun will illuminate his/her natal North Node (How do I know? Use the below tool). This is a very good time for recognition, and you will possibly be connected with positive people, especially a male or with an authority figure. Sun is the source of life and future. You feel forward-looking and optimistic about exploring new directions with courage.

This transit happens once a year.

Although you aren’t ready to fully embrace this new path you are merging in the direction of fulfilling your highest potential. Follow your instincts and intuition and you will establish the groundwork in the present.

Usually this is a good time when you are likely to receive love and nurturing energy from female figures or a mother figure around you. They provide assistance and guidance for further growth.

This transit happens once each month.

North Node in Aquarius (South Node in Leo)

Image result for Aquarius astrology wallpaper

People born with North Node in Aquarius (South Node in Leo) have birthday between: (Based on Hong Kong time zone)

28th Mar 1952 6:15PM ~ 9th Oct 1953 1:04PM

2nd Nov 1970 6:44AM ~ 27th Apr 1972 4:40PM

22nd May 1989 7:40PM ~ 19th Nov 1990 2:48AM

Lovable Leos are famously known for their exuberance, loyalty and self-confidence. Leo is the natural sign for the 5th house on a astrological wheel, which symbolises children, entertainment and creative self expressions. Historically, many successful artists, singers and actors have very evident Leo in the birth chart. They shine as the centre of the stage and attracted attention of the society. Interestingly, South Node in Leo people indeed had a previous life of being the authority, or centre of the attention in the society or an organisation. They were kings, nobles, government officials and senior management of a big corporate; or a big movie star having fans chasing them around. They lived a life above the common folks and enjoyed privileges that were only given to them because of their fame and social statues. I noticed that one of the most evident characteristics of South Node in Leo people is that they are confident. They walk, talk and behave like a “king” or a “star”. There is a natural sense of “I know who I am and I know what I deserve” in them.

Leo is the sign of self expression. Due to this glamerous past life success, these folks overdeveloped their ego, and they could somehow be attached to this strong sense of “ Everybody looks at me! I am xxx!”  When South Node is located in Leo on a birth chart, these folks are living their life to learn how to control their ego and how to put group benefit in front of personal benefit, which is the energy of their North Node in Aquarius.

Since South Node in Leo people had a very privileged previous life, there sometimes tends to be a sense of entitlement in them. Sometimes it is earned, and some other times it is not. This false sense of entitlement could make them feel isolated and stuck in life. I remember one time I was in a social gathering. Someone was introducing a friend of mine to their guests. This friend of mine used to work in a famous investment bank for years, which she was very proud of. But somehow when they did the introduction, they made a mistake by saying she was in the field real estate. Her face suddenly turned very upset and corrected the speaker in a very sharp tone. The interesting part was that she kept feeling upset about this accidental mistake for the entire evening! Later I learnt that the reason for which she was upset was because she believed working in investment banking is considered a “high level” job in finance, and by telling people this “privileged” professional of hers it would make her appear more special.

This psychology in her is a typical trap Leo South Node people tends to fall into. Because of this overdeveloped ego from their past life, they get very annoyed when they feel people are not showing them enough respect or treat them in a special way. As famous Astrologer Jan Spiller raised in her book “Astrology of the Soul”: “…their destiny is to come down from their isolated thrones and re-establish themselves as part of the collective…can also free themselves from ego entrapment by ceasing to judge and compare themselves with other people”. This brings us to the core of the problem for South Node in Leo that they tend to look at an issue only from their own point of view. This subjective viewpoint could hinder them from seeing the bigger picture of a situation and thus taking the right action. For example, a client of mine with this node position has been unhappy at work. When I asked him about the reason, he said, “Everyone in my team got promoted, but I am not. Why? Why not me?!” This strong sense of entitlement is so deeply rooted in them that when they are not getting the total approval from their environment, they get angry and bitter. This does not have to be about career advancement, sometime Leo South Node people can feel like this for very simple matters, such as “Why am I not invited to the party?”, or “Why do I have to wait in line so long?” The first step for South Node in Leo people to take is to learn how to look at any problem more objectively. For example, when this client learns he is not promoted, instead of getting angry and think “Why not? I deserve to be promoted!”, they should look at it as a self-reflection opportunity and think “Maybe I still need to learn more, improve more to reach my goal.”, or “I did a great job, but perhaps others in my team did even better. I gotta catch up!” This will bring them down to an equal level with everyone else and thus they can free themselves from their own negative emotion, especially their subtle arrogance.

South Node in Leo people have a solution to this. Having their North Node pointing at Aquarius, the sign of friendship, community and equality, these folks are very fortunate with their friends circle. One of the important things about friendship is that it must be build on an equal level. When South Node in Leo people have genuine friends, they are constantly reminded that they are leaving their own “throne” as the king and becoming a common folk just like everyone else. They naturally stop making judgement unlike they are high up there as the social elite, and become humble, equality oriented and build a sense of altruism to find acceptance and love. Leo South Node people need to be aware of the tendency that they love approvals. They breath it in and out everyday. Sometimes getting approval from their peers even becomes their pure motivation. However they are not aware of the fact that their desire for approval from others works like an additive drug, because they will always crave more no matter how much validation they get. In contrast, their North Node in Aquarius brings luck, love and happiness to them when they forfeit their ego-centred pursuit, but to dedicate their effort to a more humanitarian causes or group benefit. When they are not focusing on their own shiny image, but to see themselves as a part of the community to achieve something for everyone else, the magic happens: People love them for their effort, and will naturally give them the very approval they thirst for.

In 2021, both transiting Saturn and Jupiter will enter Aquarius, which will form a conjunction with the North Node for Leo South Node folks. This signifies a major transformation and regeneration. Usually this involves a re-evaluation of the self, the necessary letting go of the old ego and developing new understanding of the future. This sometimes needs us to be very self-aware and have an adult attitude towards what is practical and what is simply a dreamy illusion. Change or adjustment of our goals in a more realistic way is often required. Saturn transit North Node also brings some new encountering who are older than us. They might be someone who is more mature than us in terms of age, or someone in the authority who would lend us a helping hand for us to achieve further growth. Jupiter is the benefic star of luck and opportunity. This will future boost the developmet for Leo South Node people in 2021. Be humble during this time, Leo South Node. Humility will bring you one more step forward. Always remember that on the highest throne in the world, we still sit only on our own bottom.

Letao's predictive reading about Covid-19 and Hong Kong's future economy

Image result for star night mesmerizing

With 109 countries confirming coronavirus cases, and several countries reporting suspected cases, the outbreak of Covid-19 has already placed the world on a public health high-alert. Originated in Wuhan China, the virus spread to Hong Kong in late January, soon in February to European continent and many other countries. Medical professionals are exerting every effort to find treatment for this horrifying disease, and governments around the world are also taking precautionary measures to minimise the transmission. Hong Kong, where I live in, has been hit severely, following the over 6 months anti-government protests. Businesses have suffered tremendously, especially in travel and service industry.

Recently, I have had quite a few clients consulting me regarding their career. Since business has been very slow for companies in general, many clients have concerns regarding the future economy of Hong Kong and if they should consider relocation. Thus I did two separate readings regarding two issues at hand: 1) Will Coronavirus be contained successfully at a global level with in the next 3 months? 2) Will Hong Kong economy recover well at a general level in the near future?

I deliberately didn’t set a specific time time line for the second question. The reason is that for economy to recover, it usually takes longer time. We can see “near future” roughly as the next 1~1.5 years. I meditated for a while, shuffled the cards well while praying for the ending of this global disaster. Then I laid the cards down.

  1. Will Coronavirus be contained successfully at a global level with in the next 3 months?

                               *JUSTICE - 7 of WANDS - 10 of PENTACLES

                            f:id:theKingdomHealer:20200311210053p:plain

Image result for Robin Wood tarot justice
Justice is the energy of professionalism, clear-cut decisions and action. The goddess of Justice raises her sacred sword passing her holy judgement; her left hand is holding a scale, symbolising justice itself as well as fairness. This card is a great representation showing governments (authority->Goddess of Justice) around the worlds are taking whatever it has to stop the spread of the virus. The sword looks sharp, almost as cold as the ban to shut down the severely affected cities away from the world. It is emotionless, but it is logical and necessary. At the end of the day, it is a “fair” move. This card when appeared in a reading, it is also calling us to react in a professional way instead of being emotional and personal. So, seems we are on track so far.

Image result for Robin Wood tarot 7 of wands

On the card of 7 of Wands, we see a man who is standing on a tall hill and being challenged by the opponents below. He seems to be defending this position and attacking in retaliation. This is a perfect picture sitting in the middle position of the card spread, as if we are holding firmly our weapon (hand sanitisers, disinfectant spray, or whatever kills virus!!!) to defend ourselves. The 7 of Wands is not simply about fighting, it signifies a struggle that we need to go through to maintain our position, even though it is challenging. It tells us the difficulties we face to continue to have success, and it is also the perfect time for governments to prove it to people that they are capable, decisive and they deserve to stand on top to play the role of authority. The card after 7 of Wands, however, will give us the result.

Image result for Robin Wood tarot 10 of pentacles

When I see 10 of Pentacles, I smiled. This is a great card to have as the result of a situation. This is the energy of stability, long-lasting heritage as well as prosperity. Can you see the smiles and warmth on the old man’s face? It depicts a happy family photo, father, mother, grandparents and children with pets. This strikes me as family members being discharged from hospitals and finally reunite with their loved ones! Since pentacle falls under the earth element energy, it symbolises our physical stamina and body strength. With “10” golden shinny coins on the arch, we know soon we will find our balance back!

This is a big relief. I thank the Universe for guiding us.

I re-shuffled the cards. Now, what about Hong Kong? What about its future? A lot of people worry that the problems are much deeper than a temporary virus spread. Will Hong Kong ever find its prosperity again?

2) Will Hong Kong economy recover well at a general level in the near future?

*KNIGHT of WANDS- 8 of WANDS- WORLD- 2 of CUPS- STAR

f:id:theKingdomHealer:20200311184346j:plain
Again, I smiled. What a beautiful spread to see. The first thing I noticed is that the travel industry in Hong Kong, specifically Cathay Pacific Airways, will welcome a good boost of energy. Knight of Wands, 8 of Wands as well as World are all travel themed cards. They symbolise travel, airlines and international expansion. Having the World card sitting in the middle, this also signify a breakthrough. World is a card of freedom and renewal. As the final major arcana in the 78 tarot deck, it represents the concept of “completion”. This is telling us that there will be a new chapter for Hong Kong, a movement from Knight of Wands+8 of Wands towards 2 of Cups and Stars. This makes perfect sense. Knight of Wands is fiery, and 8 of Wands symbolises speed. Hong Kong’s development as the financial centre of Asia happened lightening fast. Hong Kong was the fiery knight on horse, charging forward and leaving everyone else in Asia behind. The World card is a completion and transformation. It symbolises the recognition that Hong Kong has gained in the international community and we must acknowledge what we have achieved so far. The floral wreath on the World card comes in full circle, so has Hong Kong.

Image result for Robin Wood tarot knight of wands    Image result for Robin Wood tarot 8 of wands    Image result for Robin Wood tarot world

2 of Cups and Stars are the future. 2 of Cups gives us a big hint about what we must do to bring in a better future. Do you see the man the woman gazing at each other with gentleness, holding their golden cups and each others hands, and the powerful magic happens with the winged lion in the sky? Are they in love? Is this a wedding? Or are they simply spending a great time together?

f:id:theKingdomHealer:20200311211415p:plain         Image result for Robin Wood stars

2 of Cups is about collaboration, agreement and diplomacy. In an economic recover question, this is calling Hong Kong to build a strong and successful business partnership. Please imagine a successful marriage. The husband and wife must have similar goals, mutual respect and understanding for each other. Do you see in the card that the man and woman have different racial background, and they wear contrastive color clothes? It tells us that Hong Kong needs to find its inner peace. Our goal over the next 1~1.5 years is to achieve harmony and balance overall despite the differences in us. This “partnership” could be internal, between people with opposing political viewpoints; between parents and their teenager children who have fallen out during the 2019 Hong Kong upheaval; it could also be external, and probably most importantly between Hong Kong and the international community, in particular its long term partner China. When the two powerful economies, as well as their peoples can finally raise their own golden cups and say “cheers!”  in an open, fair and logical way, we will see a beautiful future—-as the final card “the star” shows, the energy of faith, hope, healing and unlimited possibilities.
