A grand entry into 2020 with Jupiter into Capricorn

Just another two weeks and we will be entering 2020. Looking back, 2019 has been a challenging year for many people, especially with many businesses affected by the social upheavals in Hong Kong. Today let's have a close look at how the stars alignment will pan out for the year 2020 ahead.
First of all, 2020 has a very strong Capricorn influence. This includes the once every 29 years transit of Saturn (Capricorn’s ruler); once every 12 years Jupiter transit; as well as the slow movement of Pluto between 22~24 degrees in Capricorn. Meanwhile, South Node of the Moon is still staying in Capricorn until beginning of May 2020. If you have any major planets or important angles in Capricorn/Cancer, Aries and Libra, such as Sun, Moon, your chart ruler(For example, if you are Aries rising, your chart ruler is Mars; if your are Pisces rising, your chart ruler is Jupiter and Neptune), 2020 will be a year filled with changes and interesting happenings.
2019 when Jupiter was still in Sagittarius, it was in Jupiter's own house and it encouraged us to increase our cultural and spiritual awareness, expand our higher minds and broaden our experiences the past year. Jupiter in Saggitarius taught us how to believe and be optimistic about how things will develope based on the law of the universe. In contrast, Capricorn is an earthy sign. When Jupiter the lucky planet is transiting Capricorn, it teaches us how to be diligent, consistent and goal oriented. Especially when Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto are all transiting Capricorn, it is the year of harding working and self-discipline, a year of intensity but also a year of reward. Especially with Saturn energy, it will reward us if we roll up our sleeves and do the dirty work.
Even with love and relationships, this is the year we tend to be attracted to people who are career foucsed; we might even meet our love interests through a work related event or situation. This is especially true if you are Virgo rising or Sun sign in Virgo. At the same time, with Uranus in Taurus, in trine with Jupiter, you will also see many surprises in meeting people and finding opportunities. If you have your birth chart in hand, have a look at where transiting jupiter and Uranus are located on your chart. For Virgo rising, Jupiter will be transiting your 5th house, the house of romance and love, and Uranus will be in the 9th house, which rules foreign languages, culture and travel. So it won't be surprising if you meet an attractive foreigner and fall in love soon. :-)
One thing we will need to be aware is that with so many planets transiting Capricorn, it also brings an important taks on us, which is about change and letting go. In taort, the ruler of Capricorn is The Devil card. Now there nothing to be afraid of, simply it is encouraging the us humanity to face our shadow-self in order to gather the knowledge necessary for spiritual transformation. It advises us to reflect on any negativity that has made you doubt yourself, swap it for confidence and hold fast to your highest vision of who you are. Don't be "I cannot, I am not ready, I don't know". The amazing quality of a big conjunction of Capricorn is about "self-control leading to victory".
Another interesting thing to point out is that all planets will be moving forward with Uranus finishing its retrograde at 2 degrees in Taurus on 11th January 2019. This type of "all planets heading forward in full speed" is not common, and the next time it happens will be in beginning of 2021. Since on 17th Febuary 2020 Mercury will be starting its retrograde again (Yeah, and it will happen again three times in 2020!) , if we have a project or an idea that we want to materialize, the time peirod 11th Jan~17th Febuary might be a fantastic timing to push things forward. Later in 2020, Venus and Mars will also experience its retrograde, in the future blog I will explain more about this.

Aries Ascendant: Aries, in 2020 Jupiter will transit your 10th house. This is a time to gain in status, particularly on the professional front. This transit enhances your ability to handle the details required to do a good job, and others become more aware of your skills. Benefits may come through co-workers or employees during this cycle. During this Jupiter transit, you are likely to see benefits to your earning power and value system. Jupiter in this part of your chart should bring a profitable and productive year. Throughout its journey through the first house, Jupiter’s transit brings noticeable improvements to your environment as well as self-confidence to your personality. You are more obviously expansive, exuberant, and enthusiastic. This transit heightens your optimism and increases your generosity. This cycle has the potential for being a relaxed, fortunate, and hopeful time. You are greeting life with a fresh, can-do attitude. What happened in the past is not very important to you now–it’s the future that you’re eyeing now. You are filled with faith in the universe–faith that everything will work out.
